Good morning. Today’s Bible verses are Psalm 27:13-14:

“I would have lost heart, unless I had believed

That I would see the goodness of the LORD

In the land of the living.

Wait on the LORD;

Be of good courage,

And He shall strengthen your heart;

Wait, I say, on the LORD!”

In Psalm 27, the writer conveys his struggles but also his faith and hope in the LORD, finding strength to persevere. Despite challenges, he chooses patience and waits for God’s action.

Dear brothers and sisters, as members of the Body of Christ, we can draw inspiration from his faith. Although our times differ, we worship the same God, trusting that He will fulfill His promises. Paul reminds us that God the Father has called us, and through faith and faith alone in Jesus Christ’s death, burial, and bodily resurrection, we are free from the burden and guilt of sin and stand justified before God. Furthermore, we are sealed by the Holy Spirit until the day of redemption (Ephesians 1:1-14).

So, let’s remain steadfast in times of trouble. Cast away doubt and fear, be courageous, and trust that God will strengthen us. Don't give up—have faith!
