Good Morning. Today’s Bible verse is Ephesians 4:23: “…and be renewed in the spirit of your mind…”
“Oh, to be young again,” lamented the old man. “Oh, to escape the pain of old age, the creaky joints, and the nagging fatigue,” were his thoughts. People exercise, take supplements, and drink special elixirs in an attempt to slow the inevitable march of time. Yet the physical body remains subject to the curse of sin.
But in our spiritual nature, we who are members of the Body of Christ can be renewed each day.
Today’s verse encourages reflection on the subtle, ongoing influences that shape the believer’s character and actions.
Dear brothers and sisters, fellow believers in the gospel of grace, do you realize you can be renewed?
Not in body—that renewal will come when Jesus Christ returns in the clouds to take us home—but in the inner man.
Take a moment to read Ephesians 4:17–24.
In these verses, Paul encourages the Ephesian believers and all who are part of the Body of Christ to put off the old nature of sin, to which we have died, and to embrace the new life of the Spirit, which God has given us through faith in the gospel of grace.
Every day offers a fresh opportunity for spiritual renewal. By walking in the Spirit, you can experience a sense of spiritual youthfulness.
Make it a daily practice to read, pray, and live in the freshness of God’s grace, according to the new life we have in Christ Jesus. Meditate on the teachings and doctrines given through Paul so you know how to walk in the Spirit in this dispensation of grace.
It will not always be easy. The forces of wickedness war against our souls.
But remember this: God the Holy Spirit, who indwells you, will guide you along the way.
Each new day is a new opportunity for renewal in the inner man.

Reflection Questions:
What part of your thinking still reflects the “old man” rather than the new life you have in Christ?
Where do you sense the Spirit inviting you to renewal in the inner man today?
How can you create space each day for the Spirit to reshape your thoughts through the Word?
Meditation: As you continue today’s devotional, take a moment to thank your heavenly Father for renewing you in the spirit of your mind. Consider where the old patterns of thinking still linger, and how the gospel of grace invites you into a new way of seeing and living. Reflect on the Spirit’s strength within you — the One who helps you walk each day in the freshness of God’s truth. Let His Word guide your thoughts, shape your desires, and renew your mind so your life reflects who you are as a member of the Body of Christ
