Paul teaches us: Each grace gift is distinct, intentional,
and essential to the strength and unity of the Body of Christ.

Good morning. Today’s Scripture verses are Romans 12:6–8:
“Having then gifts differing according to the grace that is given to us, let us use them: if prophecy, let us prophesy in proportion to our faith; or ministry, let us use it in our ministering; he who teaches, in teaching; he who exhorts, in exhortation; he who gives, with liberality; he who leads, with diligence; he who shows mercy, with cheerfulness.”

We have walked through the grace gifts:
prophecy,
service,
teaching,
exhortation,
giving,
leadership,
mercy.

Different gifts.
Different burdens.
Different callings.
One Spirit.
One Body.

None of these gifts are accidents.
None are extras.
None are small.

Each one is a support
that keeps the assembly of
believers standing.
Each one is a supply line
of strength and grace.
Each one is part
of the Spirit’s strategy
for the health of His people.

Some speak truth.
Some carry weight.
Some lift the weary.
Some give generously.
Some lead with courage.
Some bind up the broken.

But all flow
from the same Lord
for the same purpose—
the building up
of His Body.

Dear brothers and sisters, the Body of Christ
does not stand
on one gift alone.
It stands
because the Spirit equips
every member
with what the Body needs
to endure,
to grow,
to stay faithful
in a world that seeks compromise.

Your gift matters.
Your place matters.
Your service matters.

Because the Body is strongest
when every member
brings their grace gift
to the table.

The New King James Version (Nashville: Thomas Nelson, 1982), Ro 12:6–8.

Meditation:
Let us thank the Lord for the gifts He gives and the fellow believers
we are called to love, serve, and build up.
Teach us to honor every grace gift and every member of Your Body.
Amen.
