Today’s verse, 2 Timothy 1:7, reminds us God gives power, love, and a sound mind—not fear. In uncertain times, people often look to experts for answers, but it’s important to listen critically and make informed decisions rather than follow blindly.
Even in the evangelical community, there’s a tendency to seek spiritual authorities during crises. Paul urges us to rely first on God and scripture rather than on human experts. As part of the Body of Christ, we have the Holy Spirit guiding us with wisdom to understand and apply biblical truth.
With renewed hearts and minds, we’re empowered to make wise choices and live confidently in God’s love. Let’s choose faith and rely on God’s strength, not fear.
