Good morning. Today’s Bible verse is Romans 12:6a:
“Having then gifts differing according to the grace that is given to us, let us use them…”

Paul transitions from our role in the Body of Christ
to the grace that empowers our service.

Every believer has been given grace.
Not just saving grace,
but serving grace.
Grace that equips.
Grace that enables.
Grace that fits the role God has given.

Our gifts differ.
Our functions differ.
But the source is the same.
Grace.

Paul does not say,
“Having then gifts, let us admire them.”
He says,
“Let us use them.”

Gifts are not decorations.
They are tools of grace.
They are expressions of Christ’s life in us.
They are given for the good of others,
not the elevation of self.

Some gifts feel public.
Some feel quiet.
Some are seen.
Some are hidden.
But all are necessary.

The Spirit distributes gifts as He wills.
Grace shapes them.
Christ directs them.
The Body needs them.

Dear brothers and sisters, this truth now turns toward how we live it out.
Your gift is not an accident.
It is not small.
It is not insignificant.
It is a grace entrusted to you
for the strengthening of others.

Use what God has given.
Use it with humility.
Use it with joy.
Use it with confidence in the One who supplied it.

Grace does not ask you to be someone else.
Grace equips you to serve as the person God made you to be.

The New King James Version (Nashville: Thomas Nelson, 1982), Ro 12:6.

Meditation:
Let us thank God for the grace that saves us
and the grace that equips us.
Let each one of us recognize the gifts He, through the Holy Spirit, has placed within us
and to use them faithfully for the good of others in the Body
and the glory of Christ.
Amen.

Reflection Question:
What grace‑gift has God placed in your life, and how might He be inviting you to use it today?
