Good morning. Today’s Bible verses remind us of the depth of God’s grace toward us.

Ephesians 1:7: “In Him we have redemption through His blood, the forgiveness of sins, according to the riches of His grace…”

Colossians 1:14: “In whom we have redemption through His blood, the forgiveness of sins.”

Take a few moments and read Ephesians 1:1–7.

Before we ever reached for God, He had already extended His grace toward us. He chose us, loved us, and predestined us to be His children, even knowing every sin we would commit, and every moment we would turn away.

And Paul makes this truth clear in two different letters, inspired by the same Spirit.

Ephesians 1:7 and Colossians 1:14 stand together, reminding us that our redemption is not vague, partial, or fragile.
It is blood bought.
It is complete.
It is anchored in the riches of His grace.

Jesus, the eternal Son of God, willingly took upon Himself human flesh and shed His blood on the cross to buy us out of the slavery of sin and guilt. Redemption wasn’t cheap. Forgiveness wasn’t conditional. Grace wasn’t measured out in small portions.

And here’s the miracle of it:

God does not force anyone to believe the gospel.
Instead, the Spirit opens our eyes to the love, grace, and mercy of God our Father—and we believe.

So dear brothers and sisters, let us live as God’s children.
We don’t strive for His favor.
We don’t chase His mercy.
We don’t earn what has already been freely given.

In this dispensation of the grace of God, we are forgiven— not partially, not temporarily, but fully.

Let us thank the Father for redeeming us through the blood of Christ.
Let us thank Him for forgiving fully and freely according to the riches of Your grace.
And by let us seek the Spirit, so that He might teach us to live as members of the Body of Christ: resting, trusting, and walking by faith in what He has already done.
Amen.
