Christ establishes. Christ reveals. Christ steadies. Christ receives all glory.

Good morning. Today’s Bible verses are Romans 16:25,27: “Now to Him who is able to establish you according to my gospel and the preaching of Jesus Christ, according to the revelation of the mystery kept secret since the world began… to God, alone wise, be glory through Jesus Christ forever. Amen.”

Today’s verses bring us to the heart of how Christ establishes the believer in this present age of grace. Paul’s closing words in Romans are not merely a benediction — they are a declaration of the foundation God has provided for every member of the Body of Christ.

We live in a world filled with voices, teachings, philosophies, and religious systems. Many blend Scripture with tradition, mix Israel’s program with the Body of Christ, or merge the teachings of Jesus’ earthly ministry with secular moralism. But Paul tells us plainly: Christ establishes the believer today according to Paul’s gospel and according to the revelation of the mystery.

This is the clarity we need in an age of confusion.

The Drift — Why Clarity Matters
There are many “gospels” preached today — some rooted in works, some shaped by tradition, some built on fear, and some drawn from the kingdom program given to Israel. But none of these can establish the believer in this age of grace.

Paul’s gospel stands alone.

Through the shed blood and bodily resurrection of Jesus Christ, God provides forgiveness of sin and justification unto eternal life. We do not earn salvation. We do not keep salvation by effort. We do not maintain salvation by performance. We believe — and God saves.
This clarity protects us from the drift that surrounds us.

The Anchor — What Christ Revealed Through Paul
Paul writes that God establishes us “according to the revelation of the mystery kept secret since the world began.” This mystery is the truth that unites Jew and Gentile into one Body, gives us a heavenly calling, and reveals our identity in Christ.

These truths anchor the believer:
the gospel of grace
our complete identity in Christ
the doctrine of godliness — Christ living His life in us
the Body of Christ — one new man with a heavenly future
the walk of grace — led by the Spirit, not the Law
the blessed hope — Christ’s appearing for His Body
the mystery truths — once hidden, now revealed

These doctrines are not optional. They are the foundation Christ Himself gave through Paul for our stability, growth, and godliness.
